Our story began in 2021, during one of the strangest and most isolating seasons the world had ever known.

Our founder, Renee May, fell pregnant with her first daughter during COVID, a time that, looking back, almost doesn’t feel real. Isolated from family, adjusting to life as a first-time mum, and working in emergency services, Renee found herself navigating the beauty and heaviness of new motherhood all at once.
There were sleepless nights, long days, and moments of undiagnosed postpartum depression. But somewhere in the quiet chaos, magic began to form. With a sweet newborn beside her and pen to paper, Renee started dreaming up something more.

In a season where there was very little to look forward to, dressing Lolly became one of Renee’s greatest joys. What started as a simple way to bring light into isolated days soon became something more. With no family nearby, Renee began sharing her daughter’s outfits online, and slowly, a beautiful community began to grow.

Inspired by her own daughters and the magic of girlhood, Renee embarked on a creative mission to blend luxury, fashion-forward design with effortless, easy-wearing pieces that reflect our roots in the Sunshine State of Australia.

Today, Lolly May aspires to set a new standard in baby and children’s fashion, crafting timeless pieces designed to be worn, loved, passed down, and remembered for generations.
